The short story “À maneira de Godard” belongs to the book A confraria dos Espadas, by the writer Rubem Fonseca. It is a matter of a narrative written like a theatrical text that permits several questions about the contemporary art, apart from to produce a critical reading of the classic of Shakespeare Romeo and Juliet using the parody. The text also discusses, reading between its lines, the way of construction of a play and, besides, it reflects about the conception of carnavalização, by Mikhail Bakhtin, updating the debate regarding the “wrong way round”.Downloads
