The purpose of this work consists of a brief presentation of Coivara da Memória, the first novel by Francisco J. C. Dantas. Privileging aspects of the theory of narrative, intertextuality and metalanguage, we will seek to highlight the critical neo-regionalism of the novel and its insertion in contemporary Brazilian literature.References
