Abstract

Relational propositions are implicit propositions which arise from the relationships established between text portions. This paper examines the relationships between propositions and some narrative parts of Labov and Waletsky's narrative structure in ten oral and ten written narratives in Brazilian Portuguese.

Possui graduação em Letras pela Universidade Estadual de Londrina (1994), mestrado em Linguística e Língua Portuguesa pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1998) e doutorado em Linguística e Língua Portuguesa pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2004). Atualmente é docente da Universidade Estadual de Maringá.
