This analysis was performed from a study conducted in 1995 in the North of Parana, with 556 Portuguese teachers with regard to the plans of the Secretary of Education for a teaching of interactionist inspiration. We here discuss the difficult aspects of transition that teachers must make from their traditional practice to the new theories. It offers suggestions on the method to be applied and has better definitions to clarify doubts.Downloads
