Linguistic work based on disciplines that study the lexicon, specifically lexicography and terminology. It focuses on the language of expertise used by crab collectors and sellers, including three semantic fields - crab searching, processing and marketing - in two localities on the State of Maranhão: São Luís and Araioses.
