<b> PAC: a program for teachers' critical education </b>

Describing and discussing a program for teacher education, this paper aims at displaying methodological - critical research of collaboration (Magalhães, 2005) - as well as theoretical aspects (Freire, 1996, Vygotsky, 1930 & 1934; Bakhtin/ Volochinov, 1929; Gentili, 2001; Giroux, 1997) that support a theoretical-practical activity within the Applied Linguistic arena.
