Analysis of the time to re-hospitalization of patients with schizophrenia via Cox proportional hazard model

The aim of this work was to obtain a model that estimates the time to re-hospitalization of patients with schizophrenia treated by several types of antipsychotics. This kind of information is very important because it can be used as a measure of effectiveness of the medication, therefore it can help the psychiatrist in choosing the best treatment to be used. The analysis examined a sample of 132 patients with schizophrenia and was performed using the Cox proportional hazard model. All analysis where performed by the free software R.Downloads
