A new technique using a especial equipment constituted of metallic cages wrapped in cotton cloth is introduced to test drugs against ectoparasites on infested hosts. Such technique showed really to be advantageous in the study of the activity of a pour-on formulation of "Cypermethrin" in a 25% solution against flea and tick infestation on dogs. This drug was 100% pulicifuge or pulicide, and showed reasonable activity as tickfuge and tickstatic.
