Study the prevalence of gonorrhea among a female population in the city of Londrina; values between 2,3% and 15,4% were found. The general prevalence of vaginal discharge in the population was 68,5%. An attempt to implant a routine procedure for detecting gonorrhea among the studied population was considered unviable.
