This paper analyses and compares relay selection schemes in different topologies, whose goal work is to characterize each method according to its performance. Links in two-way channels are used to increase spectral efficiency of the system, and multiple relays are combined to increase the diversity order. The conclusions are based on simulations in different scenarios, with the trade-off complexity versus performance in all the methods.
