A objetivo desta pesquisa consiste na demonstração de que se faz necessária a superação dos paradigmas clássico e moderno do negócio jurídico na contemporaneidade, sobretudo em razão da infinidade de novas situações jurídicas apresentadas pelo mundo atual, notadamente no campo da tecnologia e da biomedicina, de modo que o direito não tem conseguido mais abarcar a real definição de negócio jurídico, que, por sua vez, não mais possui conotação apenas patrimonial.
