In this article we highlight the importance of the Documentation Centers for the study of the regional history, as well as the use of lawsuits, especially the criminal records, as documental source for the study of different themes in the research area of the social movements, starting from our experience in the organization of the documental collection of the Court of the City of Londrina, 1934-1970, under guard of the Center of Documentation and Researches Historical of the History Department of UEL.
