For a long time photography was not accepted as an intelectual creation and for that reason did not have support of copyrights. However, the use of photography by society has changed rapidly and it is not possible to think about culture and information without the influence of photography. This paper is aimed at delineating characteristics of photography legal protection and analyzing copyright efficiency in photography, media and society interrelation.
