Abstract

Regulatory Law represents the
combination of public, constitutional,
economic, and administrative law, which
guide regulatory agencies. Regulation in
the health sector in Portugal is carried out
through the Health Regulatory Entity in a
health system made up of public and
private providers. This article, by means
of a review of the literature and public
legislation, intends to make known the
legal framework of health regulation in
Portugal, considering the various
constitutional revisions and the
development of the NHS.
