Ocorrências lexicais para redemoinho no falar paulista: um estudo dialetológico

Este estudo tem por objetivo apresentar e analisar as designações lexicais para a questão de número 07 - o vento que vai virando em roda e levanta poeira, folhas e outras coisas leves - do Questionário Semântico-Lexical (QSL), que faz parte do projeto Atlas Linguístico do Brasil - ALIB. O corpus é composto pelas realizações lexicais coletadas no interior do Estado de São Paulo, em uma rede formada por 37 pontos - de 150 a 187 (excetuando-se a Capital, São Paulo, de número 179). Procurou-se demonstrar que lendas e crenças, fundamentais quando se trata da cultura de um povo, sobrevivem em histórias que tentam explicar fenômenos naturais como o redemoinho.
