Abstract

Based on examples taken from the corpora with five children who used to attend a nursery school at the Universidade de São Paulo, this paper aims at presenting and commenting the Labov narrative model, showing that it is not a question of content organization but of different kinds of discourse — which makes a text (or story) worth telling.
