A dimensão sociodialetal do léxico no projeto Atlas Linguístico do Brasil

Graças à mobilidade comunicativa dos falantes, é possível falar hoje de mobilidade lexical, fluxo lexical e contínuo lexical. De fato, o léxico é uma dimensão importante em que é possível mapear a variabilidade e medir sua produtividade. Neste artigo, tomamos o léxico como objeto de estudo para uma análise sociodialetal do item lexical "cigarro de palha", que integra o campo semântico Convívio e Comportamento Social do Questionário Semântico-Lexical (QSL), do projeto nacional Atlas Linguístico do Brasil (ALiB). Trata-se de uma abordagem geolinguística multidimensional, que tem por objetivo a elaboração de uma carta lexical para a visualização da variação diatópica, diastrática, diagenérica e diageracional do item lexical analisado. O resultado do trabalho aponta para mudanças na gestão do espaço dialetal brasileiro em função de uma metodologia do ALiB que integra uma estratificação social a nível nacional.
