The present article aims to recover the concept of 'nature" elaborated by Comenius, based on two of his most important books, Didatica Magna (1638) and Orbis Sensualium Pictus (1658). Moreover, it intends to discover how Comenius interferes in the intellectual debates of his time, remaining connected to the principles of rigidity, clarity and certainty; which are typical of Modernity.
