The authors describes a case of fetal dystocia due to Perossomus elumbis in a cross Holstein/Gir cow. They observed in the fetal monster, lumbar and coccigeal vertebral agenesis, hypoplasia of spinal cord that ends in the last thoracic vertebras. The pelve was hypoplasic with narrowing of the pelvic channel, ankylose of hindlimb and pelvis and muscular atrophy.
