The ultimate goal of item analysis can be the provision of tests which are capable of measuring the results of learning. The items of such a test must be adequate to discriminate good from weak students. Thus, the ideal item is that one which good students get right and weak students get wrong. Tests with such items make the teacher's work successful. This study aims at demonstrating the use of some techniques for item analysis, mainly concerning difficulty and discrimination indexes analysis of an item of an actual test was carried out in order to give a practical demonstration of the use of some item analysis techniques.
