Reactions of rectangular slabs - an alteration proposal of the code NBR-6118.

According to the Brazilian Code NBR-6118 the support reactions of slabs on beams can be considered as uniformly distributed, independently of the beams flexibility. However, this distribution is not uniform and such approximation can cause significative differences in the stresses of the beams. In this work we present a different way of distributing the reactions, having the results obtained through this conception, together with the Code, compared with the structure solution as a unique set "slab-beam " using a program in finite elements as a tool.
