This work presents the current results of the BIOCOMP project. This project has the purpose of researching the main concepts and use of the biocomputational techniques. This article focuses on SECAM, an Expert System for Diagnosis of Breast Cancer that helps specialists in breast oncology in the medical diagnosis of women with possible symptoms of having breast cancer.
