Technique of indicator amino acid oxidation

The objective of this revision was collected the information and showed the actual adaptation of the indicator amino acid oxidation technique developed for determination of nutritional limited amino acids requirements to non – ruminants animals, and making possible the determination of true metabolic availability of amino acids in the foods, fast and efficient form, without necessity to correct the íleal digestibility of amino acids and endogenous losses. Due the technique do not carried problems with animal welfare and not be a destructive analysis, it can be suggest that technique will be a good alternative to determination of amino acids requirement, being in accordance to the use of animal species with raised commercial values.
