Abstract

This study aims to understand how scientific articles in the field of Design have approached the concept of knowledge. The theoretical framework adopts the concepts of tacit and explicit knowledge. Methodologically, a search was conducted for articles published in the journal Design Studies between 2010 and 2019, related to the keywords Knowledge and Design. The results showed diversified approaches, focused on the process, education, and cognition in design. Four categories were drawn up to organize the publications.
