This overview gives an overview of the ideas developed by Friedrich Hayek in chapter 1 of his work "The Fundamentals of Freedom," in which he presents the concept of individual freedom as non-coercion (which he claims to be the original concept of the term) and differs from other forms and concepts of freedom. The main concepts developed by the author as well as his arguments in the defense of individual freedom are pointed out.Downloads
