History and memory: participative-action-research in the local history teaching

This work was based in a participative-action-research with adolescents from E.E.B. General Osório high school, located in the city of Três Barras-SC, involving the subject of History. Participative-action-research, taken as the one where the researcher, while investigating the educational phenomena, collects data from the learning process of which he participates as a professor. Within the period of one year (2013-2014) it was applied a teaching methodology involving theory and practice in the memory study of the local history making use of oral history, bibliographic researches, photos display, antique objects and theatre performance. As a result it was concluded that the project turned the scholar space into a more attractive place to the students, contributing for a minor scholar evasion, besides the integration school-family in the school activities.
