Abstract

Given the importance in our days of the study of some feminist works, we will analyze the literary
production of three representatives of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries in Europe: Flora
Tristan (1803-1844, France), Rosa Mayreder (1858-1938, Austria) and Sibilla Aleramo (1876-
1960, Italy). They are examples of women who defended their peers in times and contexts
that were not favorable for the development of their thought, ideology and philosophy.
Through the review of the most significant titles of each one of them, it is concluded that their
philosophical, social and literary legacy serves today to many programmatic texts of feminist character. It also provides, from a gender perspective, a didactic sequence designed with
transversal activities to work in the classroom of Communication, Language and Literature.
