This article aims to present in general lines the photographic work of the Japanese-Brazilian farmer that lived in Londrina transformed into photographer Haruo Ohara. Particularly, it aims to understand the role of color, its poetic and technical aspects, in the photographic work of Ohara. We work with the hypothesis that the color in his photographic images is not a mere addition, but the expression of the work of light composition, showing itself as an important instrument of poetic economy and reflective poetics in his photographs.Downloads
