Abstract

In this article, we try to think how photography influences and modifies our ways of being, understanding it as a way of producing subjectivity. For this, we use the work of Walter Benjamin and the reflections of Susan Sontag to conceive the technical reproducibility presented in the photographic machinery as an instrument to promote a new type of perception and a new form of reality, whose manifestation is distinct from that traditionally assimilated until then.
