This paper aims to analyse the writing and aesthecs of Guimarães Rosa within the tale “Famigerado”, which constitutes the corpus os this work. With such objective being set, the present essay analyses the language chosen by the author and its implications to the narrative and the relations it establishes with Brazilian hinterland, the ambiance where the story takes place. In order to achieve these purposes, we used the theoretical elaborations of those critics known to study the Brazilian literature historiography, Bosi (1985) and Coutinho (2004), such studies enable the understating of chainned national events. Also, Gotlib (1998) and Castro (1993) support the narrative structure analysis in a general way and Guimaraes Rosa’s as well. The foundation of a space in literature undertaken by the imaginary is supported by the works of Bachelard (2008) and Brandão (2013). Finally, we used Vanoye (1987) and Holanda as the means to understand the language experience.Downloads
