Abstract

This study, the result of a qualitative research, aims to analyse the correlation of the adolescent in fulfilment of socio-educational remedial actions with the school, locating the right to education as a policy guaranteed in the Doctrine of Integral Protection established in the Statute of the Child and Adolescent (Estatuto da Criança e Adolescente - ECA) of the Socio-Educational Service System. Knowing the relationship of adolescents with school becomes important because it can collaborate both in understanding the practice of the infraction and in the educational training of these subjects. The narratives of the adolescents, subjects of this research, point out that this is a complex and paradoxical relationship crossed by elements of denial and affirmation. In this sense, the school constitutes an institutional space that shelters other places that are intertwined, characterized in this work as being: the place of law, the place of resistance and the place of re-knowledge.
