This study aims to analyze meaning and discourse projections in videoclips. This text genre is formed by three expression plans: the verbal, the visual and the melodic one. This research will use the Greimasian semiotic theory, whose main methodoly is the generative route of meaning, consisting of different levels: discursive, narrative and fundamental. In order to investigate the melody, this work will also use the song semiotics by Luiz Tatit. Therefore, this research observes the process of generation and transmission of meanings in videoclips in order to see how the several types of language, when mixed, can increase the persuasive force in a text.Downloads
