Abstract

This article aims at mapping the dialectological studies carried out in the state of Paraná, with emphasis on the two linguistic atlas of the State - the Linguistic Atlas of Paraná - ALPR, by Aguilera (1994a) and the not yet published ALPR II, by Altino (2007). The objective of this article is to contribute to the dissemination of the studies developed in the area and to emphasise the relevance of Dialectology for recording and analysis of the language currently in use.
