Abstract

Voice explosion (the acoustic indexes of the melodic curves of scream, groan and cry) approaches an essential element to the actor's voice, focusing, primarily, the vocal manifestations of high intensity. It is the result of vocal researches developed in the discipline Techniques and Vocal Expression III at the University of Rio de janeiro (UNIRIO). The curves of intonation and intensity of a scream, a groan and a cry were analyzed by means of the computer program WinPitch, used for prosodic analysis of voice. The results favor the technique developed and used in the emission of the mentioned sounds.

Possui graduação em Artes Cênicas pela Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (1982), graduação em Fonoaudiologia pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Medicina de Reabilitação (1988), especialização em Metodologia do Ensino Superior pela Universidade Federal Fluminense (1989), especialização em Voz pelo Conselho Federal de Fonoaudiologia (título concedido por mérito - 1999), mestrado em Teatro (Estética Vocal) pela Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (1997) e doutorado em Letras (Estudos Lingüísticos / Fonética Experimental)pela Universidade Federal Fluminense (2004).
