The study of law involves the search for its genesis as well as the analysis of its historical, sociological and cultural implications. Therefore the task of the scholar is to seek after definitions of ontological, epistemological and hermetical aspects of law. In this dissertation I adopt the conception that accepts law as being a social fact. Starting from this point of view I try to analyze the effects that such a standpoint exerts on law in its essence, on the made of science compatible with its study, as well as on its application to concrete cases.
