The MST and its affinities with religious segments: Bourdieu in the Analysis of an Agrarian Social Field

In this essay we address the essential concepts proposed by Bourdieu to understand the social phenomenon that would be the articulation of a social movement with an ecumenism within it. After all, Bourdieu's essential concepts continue to contribute to a better understanding of situations, social facts that are naturalized in our daily lives. Thus, the objective was to identify the presence of concepts in the MST's articulations with religious segments in order to better understand them. As it is a pure bibliographical research, as a methodology, a bibliographical survey was carried out, selection of Bourdieuan concepts, selection of events that occurred in the MST and religious representatives demonstrating in this way an “Ecumenism”, and finally, the verification of the concepts in these articulations. It is concluded that Bourdieu's concepts are relevant to explain the relationships existing within the MST and the Ecumenism present there.
