The process of digital transformation in public administration represents an essential transition, fostered by the integration of innovative technologies, to improve efficiency, transparency and better delivery of services to citizens. This study aimed to survey and investigate how digital transformation has presented itself in the different contexts of public administration using an exploratory-descriptive research methodology, through a bibliometric analysis in the Web of Science database, with a quantitative approach. This analysis was based on 34 articles that delimited the subject of digital transformation in public administration in various countries. Therefore, given the recent publications of the content presented, it can be seen that it is an inevitable issue for the development and efficiency of national and international governments, given that a collaborative approach between the government, the private sector and society becomes crucial to overcome the challenges and maximize the positive impacts of digital transformation in public administration.
