Abstract

The Freudian metapsychology brings us many grateful reflexions about the relations between the psychic apparatus and the organic body. These reflections are pertinent to the advancement of researches that need a greater understanding on the classic dichotomy “Body X Mind”. Therefore, this article accomplish some notes about such subject from the demonstration of the theoretical changes that Freud passed through along his work, especially about the human development in its psych and somatic sides. That being, we decided to organize this text following the path of the Freudian pulsional theory, prioritizing mainly the economical aspect of Freud’s metapsychology.
