Detecção de resíduos antimicrobianos no leite cru e pasteurizado tipo C, comercializado na região de Londrina, Paraná, Brasil

The one hundred thirty samples of bovine milk from a dairy plant in Londrina the were studied during the period from March 1986 to March 1987 consisted of 78 raw milk samples which are used in the processing of pasteurized milk type C, 26 samples collected at the end of the pasteurizer, and 26 samples of pasteurized milk - type C, which is commercially available in this city. The method used was the VILELA & SANTOS (1981), based on the diffusion of antibiotics in agar, using the spore form of Bacillus stearothermophilus var. calidolactis, as a testing microorganism. Antimicrobial residues were detected in 4 samples (5.1%) of row milk and I (3,85%) of commercially available pasteurized milk, hut they were not detected in samples from the pasteurizer
