Universidade centrada em aluno: um modelo contingencial

University teaching should not be done as means to convey knowledge only. Student preparation for life requires a holistic approach. It is suggested that such approach is possible through the application of a contingency model by which the student is the center of all work performed by the professor and the department. Accordingly, the departament should distribute its members in three integrated sets of professors: instructors, researchers, and advisers. Roles of the professors in these sets are discussed and contrasted.
