Areas

The themes of each area include, but are not limited to:

The journal covers research in the foundations, history, and theory of architecture and urban planning, as well as studies on the design and planning of buildings and urban spaces. Contributions that promote interdisciplinarity with areas such as sustainability, heritage preservation, and technologies applied to the built environment are welcome.

Articles are considered in areas such as macromolecular structure and function, metabolism, bioenergetics, molecular biology, enzymology, and associated biotechnologies. Studies exploring industrial, medical, and environmental applications of biochemistry are encouraged.

The journal welcomes both theoretical and applied studies in Computer Science, including topics such as artificial intelligence, computer networks, cybersecurity, databases, image and signal processing, information systems, knowledge discovery, and software engineering. Interdisciplinary research and contributions aimed at scientific, technological, and innovation advancement in the field are strongly encouraged.

The journal accepts contributions across various fields of engineering, including structural engineering, geotechnics, hydraulics, transportation, power systems, electronics, telecommunications, automation, thermal engineering, solid mechanics, machine design, unit operations, chemical reactors, and industrial processes. Studies addressing topics such as sustainable construction, renewable energy, energy efficiency, numerical modeling, materials technology, and process innovation are encouraged. Interdisciplinary research, particularly those at the interface with biotechnology, environmental sciences, and applied technologies, is also welcome.

Covers studies in mathematical statistics, inference, multivariate analysis, regression, experimental design, and data analysis. The journal welcomes works applying statistical methods in exact, biological, and social sciences.

Covers theoretical and experimental research in physics, including general physics, condensed matter physics, nuclear physics, optics, quantum mechanics, thermodynamics, and applied physics. Studies integrating physics and technology are also welcome.
