Abstract
In this paper was report for the first time in Brazil the isolation of Mycoplasma bovigenitalium in a heifer with clinical mastitis. Negative results were obtained on standard bacteriologyr but growth was observed on Haytisck medium. The colonies were characterizated by biochemical and direct immunofluorescence, as M. bovigenitalium.
