Abstract

The present review aims to explain in a general way the concepts defended by John Rawls in his work “Political Liberalism”, in which it presents its eight conferences (fundamental ideas, the capacities of citizens and their representation, political constructivism; the idea of a superimposed consensus, the priority of the just and the ideas of the good, the idea of public reason, the basic structure as object, the fundamental freedoms and their priority, respectively.
Thus, the main conceptions of political justice described by the author in the search for a society
based on equality are pointed out.
