The holistic knowledge management: adherence analysis of the TransCelerate model

Introduction: Holistic Knowledge Management is an adjustment of knowledge management to the holistic paradigm that proclaims an alternative and necessary scientific approach to the development of Knowledge Management models. However, a model of knowledge management, related to the precepts of this paradigm, presents itself as a scientific gap. Objective: To analyze the adherence of the TransCelerate knowledge management model to holistic Knowledge Management. Methodology: Qualitative Content Analysis is used to examine this model and the quantitative approach is used to evidence the percentile of adherence of this structure to holistic Knowledge Management. Results: The TransCelerate model adheres in 84.6 percentage points to the dimensions of holistic Knowledge Management, revealing that a model with this scope has not yet been reached. Conclusions: Given the model analyzed, it is inferred that the gap of a holistic model remains. However, this result is not conclusive, since only one model was analyzed. Thus, the analysis of other models of Knowledge Management, as well as the development of a holistic structure, both considering the dimensions presented in this research, are suggestions of future research.Metrics
