Introduction: A new scenario has been drawing in recent decades due to the growth of Information and Communication Technologies, especially the World Wide Web, known as the Internet, through its most popular service, the WWW, or just Web. Millions of information are generated every minute, contributing to the quick dissemination and communication on a global level without restrictions or limits. It is under the aegis of organization that was created the Information Architecture discipline, whose main objective is bringing order to the informational chaos in digital environments, i.e., those that are published in cyberspace coded by a programming language known as HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) and presented in Web sites. Objectives: To investigate the elements of Information Architecture on the Web for use in sites of Dean ́s Office for Undergraduate Program Parana State Higher Education Institutions inserted in a public context, and it presents a sample of organization for such environments based on the identification of their characteristics and based on the study of scientific literature of the subject. Methodology: For the preparation of this work, we carried out a prospecting documentary research, through analysis, the corpus consists of sites of Undergraduate Pro-Rectors of Public Universities of the State of Paraná. Results: In the site development proposal of Pro-Rectors of Public Universities of the State of Paraná, the major concern was that the interaction environment possessed elements correctly organized and in a concise manner, prioritizing the ease in the search for information. In this proposal, the main subject was graduation as well as aimed to reinforce the theory, providing the basis for it to be possible the implementation of systems that prioritize mainly on the quality of use. Conclusion: There are still many challenges to be overcome by information architects of Pro-Rectors of graduation. Certainly the inclusion of professionals from the disciplines that maintain correlation with the information architecture such as: Information Science, Computer Science and Graphic Design bring significant contributions to the improvement of their websites.Downloads
