Abstract

Through the concepts of Renascence and People in Jules Michelet's work, it is possible to think about links between the historian's activities and the forms to write a responsible and useful History. This article aims to make a reflection on the influences of the romantic historicism in Michelet and his idealization of the historian as a pedagogue able to teach self-esteem and the value of tradition.
