Abstract

Starting from the presuppose the we live in an uncertain situation of crisis to our profession, this article objectives to raise reflections about being a teacher on 21st Century. To achieve the exposed goal, we've made a brief retrospective about some authors that, during the second half of 20th Century, brought contributions think over the teaching action. Onwards these references, we made an analysis about this crisis, focusing the species of teaching action in the culture context of the school. The matter that brings the discussion here presented is: what the are the significant differences among what we were, what we are and what we want to be while teachers?
