Open Access Policy

The journal História & Ensino adopts the diamond open access model, making all of its scholarly content freely and immediately available, without charging authors submission or publication fees (Article Processing Charges — APCs) and without charging readers for access. There is no embargo period for access to published articles.

Published articles are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits users to read, download, copy, distribute, share, adapt, and reuse the works in any medium or format, including for commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the authors, the source of the original publication is acknowledged, a link to the license is provided, and any modifications made are identified.

Copyright in the works remains with their respective authors, who make their works available under the CC BY 4.0 license. In the event of republication, acknowledgment of the first publication in the journal História & Ensino is requested.
