Abstract

Photography, as a means to construct images, shares with others techniques a number of elements, but it also contains special features that make it different and specific. This article presents some concepts from Roland Barthes, Raul Beceyro and Boris Kossoy about photography and briefly describes the implicit elements in iconological analysis to provide evidence of how these particularities require specific attention by the time of an image analysis.
