This article describes the imaginary of healers in Campo Largo and explains, by using correlations to its origins, the symbols and the imagery, the way the photograph reaches a magic status in the act of blessing. There is an important role attributed to photography in this imaginary when pictures are blessed in the place of real people: meaning attribution goes beyond the iconic role and reaches the universe of the myth.Downloads
